17th Karviná Handball Cup 25-28 August 2010
17th issue of the youth tournament Karviná Handball Cup was organized from 25 to 28 August in seven cities of North Moravian region. The tournament matches were played in 9 indoor halls and on one outdoor playing field in the cities Karviná, Havířov, Orlová, Třinec, Stonava, Český Těšín, and Horní Suchá. The group matches were played on Thursday and Friday, the final matches were scheduled on Saturday. Ninety six youth teams from five European countries (Croatia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, and Czech Republic) participated this year. During the tournament 1364 young handball players played in five girl’s and in five boy’s categories 342 matches and scored 7866 goals. Fifty referees from Slovakia and Czech Republic whistled the tournament matches.
